Waiting for AF
Sun, 07-10-2011 - 4:25am

AF was due on the 7th. Still no show. I also have not kept track of temp or anything, cant with my shift change job. I am always regular. When I was trying for DS, I had one month that jumped to a 35 day cycle instead of a 30 day. This month I'm having cramping, slight bb soreness, lower backache but that's about it, but as of yesterday still no BFP! Anyway, I guess I'm just posting for any thoughts on that. As far as I know, I havent Oed later in any month. I dont remember that one month 2 years ago if EWCM was later or not...

As I mentioned in a previous post, there are quite a few women that don't get their BFPs until they are officially a week, even two and sometimes even 6 weeks late. It all depends on the amount of HCG in your urine and the sensitivity of the test. It's best to use as concentrated as possible. First morning is best, however, if you can hold you pee for 4 hours, that will give accurate results as well. And FRER seems to be the best test on the market. With all that said, your body could also have gone through a fluke...meaning, all signs pointed to ovulation but for whatever reason, your body didn't release the egg on time or an annovolatory cycle. I always had 32-33 day cycles and back in Jan., I was 11 days late. It never happened again and I never figured out the reason behind it but it does happen and I know a lot of women on this board have experienced the similar heartache. In any case, it is possible you are pregnant, but it depends on the amount of HCG. Good Luck!!

I hate the not knowing part. I hope you get your BFP soon or else AF just turns up already and you can get going again. The first one is obviously more preferable :)
