are you usually dry, or moist before AF is to start.

i feel like AF is here, but there is no blood, i feel something gushing out of me, like i do when on AF, but there is nothing, just wet panties, problems, so didn't know if this is just a sign for me that AF is coming, or -

i did have some spoting on 10 DPO, and i have never had that before, so i am thinking that was some type of implantation bleeding. that was like 6 days ago, and AF should be here today or tomorrow.

what do you think?

There could be a lot of reasons behind anovulation, including PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, stress, etc. It's really different for each of us. You might try going to www.webmd.com, and doing searches for "anovulation," "amenorrhea," etc. Most women with 25-35 day cycles ovulate regularly.

If you think you may not be ovulating, you should start charting your BBT each cycle. You'll need to buy a BBT thermometer, and I'd highly recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler - for a sneak preview, check out its website at www.tcoyf.com

Beyond that, after 15 months of TTC with no luck, you should consider seeing an infertility specialist. The guideline is usually to see a specialist at 12+ months TTC if you're under 35, and after 6+ months if you're over 35. Anovulation is a condition that can easily be fixed through some low dose meds.

Good luck to you!

well.... it seems that many of you are in the same boat as I am. AF is due this Friday ( 09/12/03). I have having the same wet feeling like I have started. So of course I run to the restroom and nothing other than clear CM that dries white ( Sorry! TMI). So I am 10PO and am anxious to know esp . since I was just offered a job today. Do you think it is too soon to test or just wait and see if AF comes? I also noticed in previous post someone was questioning PG since they did not have any other PG symptoms other than the wetness. That is like me. I guess I didn't think you should have any symptoms at this stage? Can anyone enlighten me??

well, just want to thank everyone responding, but wanted to let you know that the old AF witch found me last night. and she has come on strong.

i knew it, i always have weird dreams(sex dreams, i should say - i know TMI ) before she comes, and the "wet feeling" i had yesterday. were all signs that she was on the way.

just did not know what the spotting i had on the 10DPO i had, and i really had my hopes up.

but, i do have to say, since i have been told i have PCOS, i guess it is a good thing she came at all, it could be worse, i could not have seen her and not be pg, which is a double bummer. so just trying to think positive here. i just feel time is running out.

again, thank you for all the input,

hope everyones dreams come true.

thank you,

teri

My doctor didn't give me much in the way of an explaination as to why I was not having regular cycles or why I was not ovulating alot of the time. He pretty much told me it was a hormonal imbalance and didn't really give my any hope of having a regular cycle without birth control, which now that I look back on it I wish my mother had switched doctors and then maybe I would have some answers. I do know that stress, nutrition, and exercise can all play a part in your fertility.

Even if you are ovulating there is so much more that goes into getting pregnant that if you think about it it seems like an impossible task. When you ovulate the eggs life span after leaving the follicle is anywhere from 24-36 hours. If you only have sex on the day you ovulate the egg could have died before the sperm gets there. Sperm have a life span of 3-5 days. If the sperm does fertilize the egg there is still a possibility that the egg does not have any genetic information resulting in a blighted ovum. If the egg is good it still has to implant in the lining of the uterus, if it doesn't it will be expelled along with lining during AF. If by chance you make it through all these processes their is still a possibility the fertilized egg could have an abnormality which is the main cause for very early miscarriages.

Have been to see a fertility specialist yet? Do you have any reason to beleive you are not ovulating? Has your DH had a sperm count done?

Just wanted to let you all know that I got a BFP this morning. I was going to wait until tomorrow, but I woke up at about 5:25 and could not sleep. Also, I had really sore boobs last night and that is never a sign of AF for me.

Just wanted to let you know that these symptoms can be a good sign.

Good luck to everyone!
