Hi Minna!

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? And why?

Happy Friday!

Hi everyone!

#1 this will be our first child, I'm hoping for three, while Dh would probably settle for two.

#2 I write reports about the need for housing for the mentally and physically handicapped.

#3 I live in Uppsala, Sweden, and commute to work in Stockholm

#4 No tattoos or piercings! I know, I know, a bit dull! I used to have my ears pierced, but I had pretty severe allergical reactions.

#5 No pets, but I'd love to have a cat or two. DH prefers dogs, so I don't think the matter will be settled in my life time...LOL

#6 I'm 5feet 7 inches, a few kg overweight, brown hair, brown eyes.

#7 I was born on June 5th, 1972.

#8 Fav tv show? Friends, probably. I also like Scrubs, West Wing and the Agency.

#9 Fav movie - I watch an incredible amount of films, so hard to pick a favorite. The three films by Kieslowski (Trois Couleurs)Blue, White and Red, are probably at the top of my list. Godfather, as well.

#10 Yes, I'm married to Marek. Since 9/7/02

Have a great day y'all!

Hi hewittli,

We met in '96 when we lived in the same student corridor here in Uppsala. Twelve rooms/corridor, with a shared kitchen. One gets to know the other people pretty well... We started spending more and more time together, usually with other people around us as well, but after a month I knew that I wanted us to be more than friends. We kissed for the first time after returning home from a movie theater a month and a half after meeting for the first time and have not parted ways since! We moved in together a year later.

Hmm, maybe not the most romantic story, but it makes me smile remembering it!! :)

Have a good day and thanks for asking!

Hi Dana!

I'd like three, I think. DH wants two, so what's the compromise gonna be??

My sister always tells me that I'll be "punished" cause up until a year ago I didn't want any kids at all. She said I'd end up with triplets because of this...!LOL

GL to you too, Dana! But I guess you don't need it anymore, just lots of sticky vibes, right??? :)

Hi Vicki!

Wow, this is so much FUN!!

So, I've already written about my favorite films in an earlier post.

To name my favorite book is even harder! I love reading and every moment not spent watching films, running or cozying up to DH, is spent reading (including a one-hour-commute to work).

I love Tolkien's books, the LOTR trilogy obviously, but also Silmarillion and I'm now reading the Lays of Beleriand. God, I'm so geeky...LOL

I do also love Umberto Eco's books, especially Foucault's Pendulum and The island of the day before.

One of the books that has touched me the most would have to be Andre Brink's A Dry White Season, a story about apartheid in South Africa.

Thanks for asking and have a great day!!

Hi Teera and Trish!!

You asked the same thing, but I thought one answer would be enough!!:)

There are so many places in the world I'd like to visit. To pick one over the others is totally impossible. I've travelled a lot around Europe, I've been to Africa and Central America. I haven't been to the US yet (unless the airport in Ft Lauderdale counts!!!LOL), and have always dreamt of visiting the Yosemite park. I'd also like to see the Taj Mahal and the chinese wall.

Ever since I was a child and fell in love with Bruce Boxleitner in Bring 'em back alive, I've wanted to see Singapore.

I'd like to visit the Galapagos island and hike in the Andes mountains.

I've dreamt of going on a survival trip to Alaska. I'd like to see Hawaii before I die.

I'd like to take 6 months to travel from South Africa to Cairo.

Hmm, you see? I couldn't narrow it down more than that... Maybe I'm just indecisive!!LOL

Have a great day ladies and TGIF!!!
