Hi all,
I have a doctor's appointment on Monday to talk about trying to conceive.
Well, maybe telling him that you know your LP is that short will get him moving - that IS most likely too short to conceive. I think that most docs dont expect the average person to know that much about her cycle, so you will probably get ahead by giving that info!!!
have you tried taking Vitamin B6? many of us take 100 mg B6 for a short lp. my LP was 8 days. In one cycle of taking 100 mg B6 daily, it went to 11 days, now it is hovering at about 12.
My LP is short due to breastfeeding. i had the same issue last time when TTC #2. short LP. i figured this out after 5 months of trying, my LP was about 9 days. I took B6, and that cycle i conceived and got a BFP (pos test) at 10-11 dpo. So it worked, for me.
I believe that B12 and b6 together are very impt for regulating the cycle - bringing ovulation to the middle of the cycle and lengthening the LP to the appropriate time. BUT i do not know the amount of B12 you should take, so perhaps your doc can help. i asked my OB about b6 last time (TTC#2) and they were fine with it. i did not need b12, but my cycles are not long, and i OV in about the middle.

The very least you can do in your life is to figure out what you hope for. And the most you can do is live inside that hope. Not admire it from a distance but live right in it, under its roof.
