What is THIS??? I'm confused on this one

First of all... this may be a bit graphic for some people.. and I'm sorry if it is.

I NEVER spot at 11dpo.. 12 has been the earliest.. and only twice in the past two years.

BUT! Ok.. Let me back up just a sec.. My lp is normally 13 to 15 days. 13 has always been the earliest.. and 17 the very latest. .. Ok.. NOW.. Spot, for me.. is rarely brown. (like.. MAYBE once a year.. and NOT LIKE THIS).. It's usually one time, on tp only, and very light pink. Af is ALWAYS red. Bright or dark.. but RED. Lasts 3 days.. with spotting.. MAX. Two days minimum... but then, if af only lasts two days.. there's usually 3 days of pink spotting.

Ok.. Here's where I'm confused. I started spotting a creamy brown on 11dpo. I woke up to it.. and it continued all day.. (that was Friday). On Saturday, I woke up to HORRID cramps (which I just don't get with af), HEAVY brown spotting and dark red clots.. with red smeared on tp. (sorry if tmi).. Sunday.. only brown spotting. Monday.. creamy brown spotting. Tuesday.. the same.. creamy brown spotting. Wednesday.. the same. Today.. it's lighter... like it's trying to go away.. but STILL creamy brown spotting.

That's 7 days of this! I NEVER EVER EVER have it this long!.. And NOT this color!!

I haven't had any cramping since Saturday.

I was sick w/stomach bug/virus Sat. and Sun. night.. and yucky diahrea since then.. off and on... not constant. No stomach aches. My girls have had it from both ends one on Sunday night. .the other on Tuesday night.. .(and now it seems like DH might be coming down with it) YUCK. ANYWAYS>... this sort of thing has NEVER EVER affected af.

Would it be too far-fetched to think it could be implantation????????

What do you think???

And.. THANK YOU if you got this far withOUT grossing out! I don't normally discuss such things.. It's just that I am REALLY CONFUSED on this one!

I would appreciate any thoughts on this.

Thanks,

Jen

Oh yes.. Here's my chart if you want to see it.. I kept it all on one chart because of my confusion.. It just doesn't seem like a real af. I stopped temping on Saturday.. when I though af had shown up.. I temped today.. and it's right back up there where it was before this began.

I'm interested to know what ANYONE else thinks.

First off ***HUGS*** I know how frustrating this can be!!! I don't know what to call it, I had spotting during my cycle but then had the worst AF I have had in awhile, clots, and all. It was yucky, all I can say is GL!!! I hope this is your month, ~~~PV~~~ +++Positive Vibes+++ for when you test!!!

Well Jen I am not sure what to say. I am concerned with the horrid cramping and dark clots. It could be implantation but if you haven't I would suggest calling your dr. to be on the safe side. And then maybe you could get your progestrone and HCG checked. Best of luck to you.

Just looking at what else is out there. I noticed this and I would suggest a pg test. If it positive, go get an US and see. Try to take pg test before you stop bleeding, if you haven't already. It is either you are just cleaning out some leftover goo or you could have had a m/c. sorry, but I did exactly the same, flu symptoms and all, when I had my m/c.

De-lurking to say I think it very well could have been implantation bleeding. Usually IB is brown and can be mistaken for AF. It would be the right timing and since your temp is still high I would for sure take a test! That or go to the doctor for a BT. Either way I hope you see that BFP! Anything different can be a good sign! Best of Luck Jen! I hope this is it for you! I know how long you have wanted this!

I have an opinion,

I think the reason people are just reading and not responding is because they are shaking their heads in disbelief that you are still posting such graphic descriptions of your discharges.

No, it isn't implantation. You have done this long enough and should know that the chances are slim to none. If you are really concerned, call your doctor.

I'm sorry...I'm going to disagree with this opinion. I think that is a very mean thing to say. I personally read posts and don't respond to some because I don't know the answer. I don't like to give incorrect information or negative responses and I will leave it to someone who has an appropriate response. I think this negative post was completely uncalled for.

((((HUGS))))) to you Jen.

I have to de-lurk to agree with Tara...on both of her posts. 1) Jen, you need to test...your symptoms don't sound "normal" (whatever that may be!). 2) I don't at all agree with karenmarie34's post. First of all, Tara's opinion of why people read but don't post replies accurately describes me. I may read a post, but if I don't have anything helpful to respond with, I often don't respond. Maybe that's a bad way to look at it, but I'd rather you got good information from someone who knows, than bad information from my guessing.

As for posting graphic descriptions, where else can we do that? Unfortunately TTC is not always sweet and pretty...it can be confusing, messy, and yes, at times graphic and gross. I'm just thankful we have a forum in which we can ask embarrassing and graphic questions.

Continue to ask away, Jen...reading everyone's graphic posts has certainly helped me in the past few months. And I hope that you, like nattiesmama earlier this week, beat the odds and end up pg even when most of the signs say otherwise.

((((HUGS))))
