What is Implantation Bleeding?

I am not exactly sure what Implantation Bleeding is? I have 1 child, and don't remember any kind of bleeding.. When AF came last month I bleed for 2 days then stoppped bleeding for a day and then the 4th day I was spotting, really weird, cause AF is always normal and I was couple days late, which rarely happens and PG test are negative. Took 1 being couple days late, AF came and then took another after AF left to make sure and still negative..
Can anyone help Please. AF is due again around the 23rd..
Thank you

I'm no pro, but here's my take... Implant bleeding occurs after the egg has traveled down your F-tubes, and into the uterus. It implants itself into the uterine wall, and thus, causing some minor bleeding. Actually, it's more like spotting, and can, but doesn't always occur between 4&8dpo. Some people say it is normally pinkish, rather than red, but I believe it can have a range of color.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. AF was very unusal last month. AF came almost 3 weeks after trying. Would that show up on a test that soon? All I know is when I was 2-3 days late (3 years ago) from my AF I took a test and showed positive...Maybe I just thinking about it to much. I wanting my daughter and new baby to not be alot of years apart. 4 will be plenty..
