I know the conventional wisdom is to go to the dr and get tested for fertility problems if you've been ttc for 1 year w/ no luck and are under 35.

I would agree, if your insurance covers it, go for it! You already know you have a short LP so you have at least one concern.

My insurance doesn't cover anything, so even though I'm past that year mark, the only thing I've had done is CD 3 blood tests. My dr. fudged those through under another reason. I do know that I'm ovulating and my LP is consistently long enough, so that's not a concern. If I wasn't O'ing though, you'd better believe I'd be at the dr by now.
