Anyone know exactly what this is and when it occurs?

When doctors take a biopsy of the endometrial lining (what comes out when you get your period... which is also where the embryo will attach & grow) they like to see an "H" pattern lining. That is, one layer goes one way, the other the opposit way, and the third the same way as the first, forming a pattern like an H. The three layers are on top of each other. This is an "ideal" lining. They hope to acheive this before transferring an embie in the case of IVF and they hope to see it in a natural woman ttc , i assume.
