What would you do? CD 59
| Tue, 04-14-2009 - 9:47am |
Hello all! I am fed up with my cycle. I am on CD 59 today, I had a positive opk on Sunday. So far no temp shift. My dr thinks I may have PCOS. My dr wont prescribe provera until 2 or 3 months without a period. Well, tomorrow will be 2 mos. So should I ask for provera or should I give it a few more days because of the OPK?
What would you do?

Hi Rebecca,
Okay, before you take the provera, I would have in mind what you want to do next cycle.
Wow Britt! 5dop! Good for you! I tend to trust temps more than Opk's. If I didn't see the positive opk, I would say CD 16 for sure.

I am going through the same thing! I had 3 positive OPKs this cycle, and I have not had AF since my miscarriage in February. I am on CD61 today. VERY frustrating!
I had a thermal shift back on CD36 so I thought I O'd. Yesterday I thought I was at 14DPO and I had bright red/brownish bleeding during sex so I assumed it was AF. Then, no bleeding or spotting at all the rest of the day and nothing today! I though I was 15DPO today, but after inputting the last 3 days temps into Ovusoft it moved my O date to CD53, putting me back at 8DPO now.
I am going insane! I called my doctor last week to complain about not having AF yet. I am 26, but my hubby is 40 so we want to get this TTC back on track ASAP! They are having my come in for a blood test tomorrow, and if it's negative they will give me Provera.
I just started taking Fertility Blend yesterday. I figured I'd give that a try before trying Clomid since it has a high success rate and lower side effects. If the test is negative I think I will take the Fertility Blend for a couple weeks and see if I get AF on my own. If I don't, I will fill the Provera script.
