So when is the best time to use opk???? I have heard so many
different things.Anyways I use my yesterday and today in the
morning.I got a second faint line.It says to keep testing if
you have a second faint line.My temps were down yesterday now
today there up.I know you have to wait for like 3high temps
to confirm. So should I test twice a day or what.I use the answer
opk.Did I miss it.How long do you get those second lines
before you get a positive.

Hi. I use OPK's also. I read the best time to do them is between 10am-3pm. I believe most women only test once a day(at the same time each day) but I did read a post yesterday of someone who thought you should test twice a day(could be expensive!!). I use the OPK's in conjuntion with temps, CM, and CP that way I have covered all the bases and get a better idea of what my body is doing. I have used the Answer OPK's and I didn't like it at all. It didn't seem to work so I went out and bought a First Response Ovulation Kit. I tested my urine with both the Answer and First Response right around when it should come up positive and the Answer didn't give me a positive result but the First Response did. The Answer lines don't seem to be very dark and for me they were very difficult to read. You are suppose to use the OPK's until the test line is as dark or darker than your reference line, that is considered positive, anything else is negative. Once you get the positive you should ovulate I believe within the next 24-36 hrs. I don't know if this helped at all but I thought I would just throw my thoughts in!!
Good luck!

I used an OPK for the first time this past cycle. I started taking the tests on the day I first noticed wet CM. I was taking them using FMU and was not seeing any changes. Then I posted on this board asking when to test and someone responded to test at 2pm. The day before I expected to ovulate I took 4 OPKs. One at 7:30am, 11:00am, 2pm, and 10pm. The only one that was positive that day was at 2pm and I ovulated exactly 24 hours later (based on O pains). So, this is just me and I'm sure it's different for everyone. But I'm sure I would have missed the surge had I not tried the 2pm test, as someone here suggested. Hope this helps!
