What's up with the temp drop

I changed my hpt's to positive because you all told me that the faint pink line is positive no matter how long it lasts. I am still having uterine cramping and nausea and headaches and all the other symptoms. But what's up with the temp drop?? By the way the coverline is inaccurate, it's just there so that FF would let me put in an O line. Wish me luck AF is due tomarrow and if I'm not pg then something is definately wrong with me.

Im really sorry to have to tell you this, but a temp drop almost always means that

af is on her way in a few days. I hope im wrong. Good luck to you.

I don't agree with the last poster - go check out the chart gallery on FF and see how many women who actually were pregnant had a temp drop before BFP. Don't sweat this one, it could be a fluke!

I have heard a positive is a positive as long as the line doesn't disappear after the alloted time. If you got a faint + and it disappears it is an evap line and should not be considered positive. I hope this didn't happen to you. Good Luck.

WOW Carolyn you're right, there are a lot of charts that have a HUGE drop in one or two days when af is due or the day before. I'll keep my hopes up, I still feel prego with symptoms and all. I have to talk myself out of getting sick in the morning, pretty soon I won't be able to. lol.

I hope you are pregnant, but it's not true that a test is considered positive if the line fades away. True positive tests stay for at least 48 hours, and the line is still visible with color. I have all mine from my daughters, 5 and 2 years ago on FRE's, EPT's and cheapos. I have had the line show up with color twice on FRE in the last few months, only to watch it fade completely away within 5-10 minutes, and I was not pregnant. Also, it's true that many charts show temps up and down, but your's has gone down the last two days and stayed down and it's really too late for implantation. I so hope I'm wrong and you are one of the one's who implants late, but I'm just trying to be honest and share my experiences because I know how disappointing it can be. Please keep us posted, and don't lose hope til AF shows, or not! Best of luck and I hope you get that nice dark positive that sticks around! Tressa

Tressa,

I had what ff said was an implantation dip on dpo4 and that is the earliest for implantation. If I'm not pg then I don't know what's wrong with me. I have n-e-v-e-r felt like this before.

Bree, sounds very promising then, and with your symptoms. I saw in another post where one of your tests stayed positive and that's a great sign as well. It just sucks having to wait and wonder! I finally got positives last month and had Dr. confirm it. I kept charting til I was 5 and a half weeks, and just never felt good about the pregnancy. Sure enough my temp started dropping and I miscarried. I tested positive on like 7 different brands of tests and at the doctor, although we never did blood tests because I had two previous term pregnancies with no problems. It is hard, but keep thinking positive and bet you will find out tomorrow that you are preggo!! Keep us posted, I've got my fingers crossed for you. Tressa
