Sorry, but the "Whats love got to do with it" song is in my head, so now its in yours too!
But I am wondering what the purpose of temping everyday does for ttc? I don't doubt it helps, I just want to know why. Can anyone help? TIA!

The point behind temping is that ovulation is confirmed through a thermal shift in your temperatures. Temps are generally lower when estrogen is higher and temperatures go up when progesterone goes up and it goes up after ovulation occurs. So the benefit to charting is that ovulation can be confirmed. It does not however
