Which CD did you get + OPK ?

I'm on CD 21 and have not gotten a positive OPK yet. This is my first month using them. I've used a combination of the CB digital and regular ones. Cycle#1 was 30 days and cycle #2 was 40 days. This is the first time I'm experiencing irregular periods. I had no problem getting pg with my other kids so this is new to me. Thoughts?

TIA

Hi Kelly -

I did not get a postitive until CD20 for the two months I tested. Keeping testing! I have been without a period since the beginning of January. I went to the dr this morning. She gave me provera to induce a period.

You could be having a longer cycle or even an annovulatory one, it also could have happened on a day that you didn't test with an OPK. Have you noticed any O symptoms either now or in the past that would indicate to you that it's happening? Also many people here like to chart their temps throughout their cycle, and is a useful tool in helping to figure out your body. The OPK is great, but knowing your CM, cervix position and temps can help you figure out when you test.

I've been tracking CM but not temping. I've had stretchy CM with brown tinge for the past three days (CD 19-21) and also CD 13 &15. If it doesn't work this month, I'm thinking about temping next cycle. I've been doing OPK's every day around 3:00 p.m. since CD 10. How do you know if your cycle is anovulatory?

Hey there!

Couple things....

If you use the cheapies from the internet, then I would suggest testing more than once a day if you can....Sometimes the first one will not pick up

I had one cycle where I did not get a + until cd23 so I would keep testing. Aso if you can I would collect urine in a cup that way you can be sure your urine is concentrated enough medium to dark yellow because you can get false negatives if your urine is not concentrated enough. HTH

I got my first + on CD 11... we aren't TTC until April, but I had the urge to POAS lol, so I used 3 of them (CD 8, 10, and 11).
