Just curious how many aren't telling anyone they're ttc. I am not telling anyone! It took 7 months last time and I don't want everyone asking me questions.

UMM I have a confession

I have not really even told DH. SHHH.

He knows something is up, but he isn't complaining if KWIM. haha

My DH and I are not telling anyone either. I don't think the added stress of answering questions is good, plus, when we do get pregnant, it will be my parents' first grandchild...mom is going to go nuts! This is going to sound funny, but the only person who knows is a friend who is psychic...she totally called me up and asked why I didn't tell her...LOL!

We're keeping quiet, too. It will be the first grandchild for both of our parents and we want it to be a big surprise. I did tell my little sister, though. I tell her everything...plus she noticed the thermometer on my bedside table and said, "You're not sick. What's the thermometer for?"

I can't wait for a BFP!!

We're keeping it fairly quiet. I've told a few friends -- but two of them are more "email friends". LOL. DH knows though. LOL. But NO family knows nor will we tell them til I'm at least 8-12 weeks. Especially his family. But our families are long distance from us anyway so that makes it easier to hide it.

I don't want the pressure, the questions, the guilt from ILs asking "when" -- it's all my fault if it doesn't happen right away (I have PCOS.....and DH's family tends to be very fertile so it's the spouse's "fault")

DH and I are keeping quiet, too. You ladies are the only ones who know! We don't want the pressure of questions, and it'll be the first grandchild for both families. Also I had a m/c years back, and hated having to tell everyone I'd lost the baby over and over, so we're also going to keep it quiet when I get that BFP, until at least 13 weeks (I may cave and tell my mom and sister, since they know my history and would know to keep quiet about it until my second trimester).

us too for the most part. Some people have asked when/if we'll have #2 and I've responded..."We're talking about it". I've also talked about having more children in a general sense with family members but nothing specific. One friend knows for sure because I will probably babysit her baby once a week through the school year and I wanted to prepare her in case she needs to find a new babysitter next spring. Some email friends know too.

ooops I forgot...my in-laws kind of know but I had to ask my mil for an opinion as she was a nurse at the hospital I would go to and I wanted to know if the OBGYN I was referred to was good.

Ummmm I guess that isn't that quiet!

We're keeping it quiet because it's such a long shot!! I was fine witt, then I find out my husband has practically told his entire boat! Oh well! I haven't really told my friends or ANY of our family. We want it to be a surprise!

I'm not married, so that's why we're keeping it quiet. I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years and we will get married someday (soon!) This country makes is real hard to get married these days, without being penalized, so that's why we aren't married, yet. In December, I chose to buy a house, rather than to get married - it was the most important thing at the time....

There's just such a stigma that goes along with unmarried people TTC and TTC is hard enough as it is, I don't want to hear any flack from anybody, ya know?!
