Why are my cycles getting longer each mo

I thought after all these years I'd finally figured out my cycle just in time to have it all turned upside down. A little history about me....I'm 26 and ttc #2. Previously I was on birth control pills for over 5-6 years and when I was ready ttc #1 I got pg the 2nd month I stopped them. Then I had a m/c, then it took 8 more months and I got pg again and had a healthy full term pg and a little girl Olivia. Now she's 2.5 years old and we've been trying for #2 for almost 5 months. I stopped birth control 5 months ago and each month my cycle seems to get longer and longer. All my life it's been a regular 29 day cycle and last month it went up to 35 days! I mean, that's NEVER happened! The month before that it was 32 days and the month before that it was 30 days. Now today it's CD 30 and no sign of AF! It's really frustrating! Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be worried? I was temping but I really didn't do it enough to say if I O'd or not. I will next month though but first I"m going to buy a new bbt. And I watch my CM which has been my best sign so far but even that's wacky anymore. I do get it, but I get it off/on for like 9 days sometimes. This is so frustrating and I've been so down. I just wish I'd be regular again for once! (never thought I'd say that one! LOL!)

Hi Heather:

I know how you feel. I went off of BCPs in mid May after four years. My cycles also got longer each month. Last cycle, it was over 50 days! I took Provera to get it jump started again.

My suggestion would be to talk with your physician. She may be able to give you something to help regulate your cycles.

LOL!
