Just wondering--because if the whole object of the test line is to pick up HCG, why would it only work once?

TIA.....maybe it is the hpt marketing Department that makes that rule...lol....?

There is a chemical reaction that takes place when urine meets with the chemicals of the test. This can only happen once, therefore a test is not re-usable. HTH!

Stef is right-- i remember reading about it on peeonastick.com...

I think there is dye on the left end of the stick (Left being closer to where you pee and test line ,right being closer to control line). When you pee on the stick, the dye and urine disperses over the whole stick from left to right.

The test line contains some sort of mice cells that can identify when you are pregnant. So, if you are pregnant, the mice cells react positively and somehow magically make the dye stick

I am so glad you took the time to explain that to me!! NOW it makes sense:) Thank you--I get it now...I always wondered why that blue looking line passed through the test!
