My first thought is that you might be interpreting the reading wrong...
My OPK's always have a slight line in the result window. It's gets darker the day I get my definite +. I have tested a seconf day before and it was + but never a third or fourth day... I keep them for the next cycle since I figure I already had my +.
If you read the instructions carefully they all say (and I've tried 4 different brands so I KNOW!) the line in the results window must be AT LEAST as dark as the control line, if not darker.
The thing is that LH is always in our system at low levels, it peaks to release estrogen, which triggers ovulation. So I suppose it might be normal for LH to remain high (but not AS high as when it peaks) until

I thought that at first too, but the test line is always darker than the control line...by a lot.
