I never would have thought! I went for u/s Saturday morning and folicle measured 1.9. I just got back from my appt this morning and I ovulated! B/T from Sat shows the beginning of a surge and the nurse says that "o" would have happened probably Sunday morning sometime. Well....I didn't even get EWCM til later on Sunday and no "o" pains until this morning!!!!!! Luckily DH and I bd'd on Sat morning-phew! Here's my chart as of this morning... http://www.FertilityFriend.com/home/1bb3a

Even going by that I would think I would be "o"ing tomorrow. I wanted to share this with you all so you know that "o" may be happening sooner than you think. I thought I was an expert at determining when it was happening but this has proven me wrong.

I hope this helps someone! Start that bd-fest EARLY!

I started with the ovulation strips (i got on e-bay) and my strip said I would ) in 24 hours. I was SUPPOSED to ovulate on Wednesday of this week. I testd this AM and I had already O'd. Thank god DH and I BD on Saturday!

Hey Tara...congrats on your Big O!!! Yippee!!! I hope you are a true Egg Cracker :)

I have a question - I use OPKs...it was + yesterday afternoon, which means I would probably O between then and 6AM tomorrow...from what you know are the OPKs pretty accurate, or do you think you could O earlier with those as well? I had pretty major O pain last night around 2AM. When you say B/T, are you referring to BBT? I wasn't sure what you meant :) Thanks!

Hopefully we've both O'd and caught that eggie!

Hey there Lori! Sorry about that....B/T is referring to blood test. I'm going through cycle monitering this cycle and have been in for a blood test and ultra sound every other day for the past 2 weeks. What they detect in the B/T is the LH surge I beleive and I think that's the same thing that the OPK's detect, so I'd say it would be accurate. I have never used OPKs so I'm afraid I can't reference that, I've been checking CM and CP and BBT(charting) only.

GL to you and I hope you caught it! Maybe I can join the Egg Crackers now that my long- awaited "o" has happened? CD22 this cycle for Pete's sake!:o)

Hey Tara!

Congrats on your O and welcome to the 2WW!!! Hope you cracked that eggie!

YOu know...I've been wondering about the whole BBT and it's accuracy, at least for myself. My temps jump around like crazy in the same night! And my temps don't tend to get higher the later I sleep...they actually will drop sometimes! When I went to my doc last cycle, she did not really pay all that much attention to the exact day of O. She circled several day's worth of temps, and said "you probably ovulated somewhere in here."

It makes it harder for us to knew exactly what is happening...I guess it really is about looking at the overall pattern of temps. At least for me...

Anyway...I'm sending you many ****heat**** vibes. I really do hope that this is your month!

Oh...and I'm sorry you are having to get stuck with a needle every other day! Ouch!!!

Good luck to you this cycle, Tara! I'm beginning to think that charting can be more misleading than we think. My doctor totally doesn't recommend it, but I'm having a hard time believing her. But after reading your post, I have to wonder if she's right. Did you happen to take an OPK? It would be interesting to see what it said. :) Were you on any medications? If so, I wonder if that affects the temps and CM?

Here's hoping for a BFP for you this month!

Tara, I am so happy for you. Just knowing that you "O" is wonderful. The U/S gave you lots of info! Is this one of the first times they have tracked your cycle by U/S? I am glad you BD Saturday. I am wondering if more women "O" alot earlier then they think?

Take care and don't be afraid if you have no "regular" symptoms. I had no idea I was PG until I looked at that test.

Congratulations.
