Hi again. Now that I know what day to start counting--I have another question (or several--LOL)..
What am I looking for if I chart my temperature. Do I do this first thing in the morning or when? What degree change is considered drastic enough to detect O? And....will the temperature rise exist for the entire fertile period? Do you bd at the first onset of temperature rise? Is a reg. digital thermometer accurate enough for this? Who can explain the luteal phase and how on earth do I determine that?
With DD it took 2cs to get pregnant!!! I just used an internet calculator for ovulation and wham-O preggo. I just don't think i is gong to be that "easy" again. In fact, I was so sure I was pregnant this last month--and I wasn't.
Thanks for all of your help!!!
Danielle

You should get a Basal Thermometer. You have to temp at the same time every morning, before you get up, talk, pee or move!
When you get the temp rise, you have already ovulated and the fertile period is basically over. You should be checking your CM (cervical mucous) as well, and this may provide the key to when you are about to O (ovulate), and when you should start to BD. Over a couple of months of charting (you may get a BFP faster than a few months), you may see a pattern of when you O, so you can also time BDing better. I'm sure there are many ladies here who know a lot more than me!
Here is a link for a chart.

Three weeks ago I knew nothing about temps and charting and since then have gotten the hang of it. It's a free program with lots of info.
Good luck!
