I just watched a video of a girl doing the needle test. She swears it's never been wrong in her family. She's pregant with number 2 and the needle says she'll have 3. BUT... The first time she did it, it said the 3rd would be a boy. The second time she did it, the needle said the 3rd would be a girl. Maybe it only works with the one you're pregnant with? I may go to the dollar store and buy a needle. If it's right for the kids I already have birthed, I'll trust it a bit more.

Okay, I gave in, went to the store, and got a needle and thread.

So according to the needle test am to have no kids :'( After 43 months of trying that is NOT the result I wanted to get. I don't believe in superstitions or fortune telling but thought I'd give it a try to see if it could give me some fun cheering up. nope :'(

I've done the test 3 times now. I'm a scientist, it's what I do. Test and retest. The first two time, I got a girl and a boy and then it stopped. Last night, I did it again, I got a girl, a boy, twin girl/boy, another girl, another boy and it was gearing up for another swing when dh walked in the room and I put it down so I wouldn't have to explain why I was being so silly. I don't think an engineer would get it ;) Hmmm, should I try again?
