So AF's on her way out the door and I couldn't be more excited! This was one of the longest AF's I've had......counting the spotting I had three days prior to AF actually finally showing up, I bleed for more than a week. NO FUN AT ALL! Usually it only lasts 4-5 days max!

This is my first cycle religiously taking my temp. I started last month but I wasn't very good about remembering to take it in the morning.....So far I've actually remembered to take it every morning this time around. My temps seem a little wonky to me.....not really sure what's normal tho? I've had a slight cold/ sinus issue the passed 5 days or so, not sure if that could be effecting my temps or not. But I'm trying to stay away from antihistamines for fear of it giving me dry CM issues.

In my fanny pack this month is....Green tea- 2x daily, vitamins, checking cp and cm, and charting my temps.....also thinking of maybe starting OPKs but I'm unsure of what brand or type is best/easiest to interpret

Good luck this cycle! I second everything JenniRen said about opk's. I love the CBE digitals (buy 20 count off amazon for way cheaper than you can in stores) since they give you a smiley face when they're positive...it's nice to not have to interpret the lines. However I usually don't start using the CBE digital ones until i know i'm close to O time (they are kind of my back up). First I use the Walgreens brand ones until the test line starts getting darker (I always have a fade-in pattern, and it usually takes a few days for my opk's to get darker and darker until they're finally positive). Once the walgeens ones are getting darker I pull out the CBE as a back up to see if it's really go-time. ;) Not everyone has a fade-in pattern though. Some people check twice a day once they think they are nearing O time so they don't miss their surge...I have done that before, but my surge usually lasts for a couple days and i will get 2 days of positive opk's. I've also tried the internet cheapies and felt like they could be too hard to interpret.

Uninvited guests shouldn't overstay their welcome!! How rude!!! Sorry to hear about the sinus cold -lucky me has one too & like you I don't want to take anything for it. Ugh it hurts so much :( Your temps could likely be affected by it if you're breathing through your mouth but your af temps shouldn't affect the rest of your chart...

Your fanny pack sounds great! I used the Internet cheapie opks this month & then confirmed the positive with the clearblue easy digital.

Good luck! Christmas babies for everyone ;)

I too say CBE digital, Goodluck this month!

BTW, I had a cycle that a few months ago- my AF was 10 days late and when she did arrive I spotted for three days and the bled for 6 or 7. I had it when the hag plays games like that...I don't wanna play! LOL!
