So since I am doing IUI I was wondering if I should take the month off from temping and using my monitor. I feel like if I temp and I see whacky temps or temps that don't look right to confirm O I am going to get paranoid and stressed out that i didn't work!! Plus, it would be nice to relax. What do you ladies think??

It sounds nice to be able to take the month off, but how do you know when to do the IUI? I need more info before I give my two cents :)

I wouldn't temp after you've pinpointed O and have had the procedure done--it'd be nice to have a break! :) Are they going to do the trigger shot for you so you know when you're going to O w/out having to mess with opk's and stuff? I loved the trigger shot so I didn't have to worry about when was I going to O and worry about if we BD at the right times (or IUI in your case). Good LUCK!!

Brew, my doctor will be doing ultrasounds to check follicle sizes and then I will do the trigger shot to induce ovulation.

So yes Sydney in answer to your question I will be triggering as well which I am very happy about. I am nervous about injecting the shot though? The doc says you do it yourself. I'm scared I'll do it wrong! Haha.

Yea for the trigger! It's so nice to just sit back and relax and not worry about when you're going to O. I was nervous about it too, but there are instructions that come w/it that tell you exactly how to inject it...and it's a really small needle. I'm squeamish about needles though so I made dh do it.

It sounds like you won't have to worry about ovulation, so I think I'd just sit back and enjoy not having to stress about that part and not temp. Trying to figure out when ovulation was taking place was always the trickiest part for me.

Good luck!!! I hope that March is your lucky month! :)
