Waiting, waiting, waiting...

I'm on CD6 and waiting for my referral for an OB/GYN. I had CD 21 bloodwork and (sadly) CD3 bloodwork. The nurse said that will give me a head start because the OB/GYN will request them anyway. I'm not sure what will happen next, I'm really nervous. We're thinking IUI is the only way forward for us, after TTC for 18 months and absolutely no sign of any pregnancy whatsoever it's quite obvious that we need medical help.

I've started to feel quite depressed lately, this is the perfect time to have our first baby so why can't it just happen! DH is working away for 3 weeks so this cycle will be a bust, and every night I'm crying myself to sleep. It hurts, when you want something so bad

I'm so sorry! I hope that this doctor calls soon and finds a solution that will help you on your way to a healthy pregnancy. Keep us posted. Is this your first time consulting medical help for TTC? A reproductive endocrinologist may be able to help you best because they specialize in infertility problems and hormonal issues affecting fertility. I saw one prior to my first pregnancy and she was GREAT and very thorough. Good luck!!

Unfortunately we don't have an RE where we live, the closest one is 5hrs away, I just found out that the ob/gyn that I was referred to have a 6 month waiting list. It doesn't look like I have any issues, I O fine and Af is a regular 29-30 days and all my bloodwork was fine. Our problem lies with dh's swimmers. We are
Going to see his urologist on feb 21 so he might have some ideas for us.

(((hugs))) I'm so sorry this journey has been so hard for you. I hate that ttc is so freaking hard for those who want it most :(

Having your b/w come back normal is an excellent silver lining! At least you guys don't have another strike going against you. Did you ask to be put on the cancellation list? 6 months is crazy, but I guess that'll happen in a small town. Any chance you can drive to another city to see a different OB? Have you thought about seeing a therapist to help you with your struggles? I hate to think what a toll this has placed on you. There are meds you can safely take while preggers, just so you know :)

Fx'd for good news & insight from the urologist.
