Hey girls,

I got a call yesterday asking if I could come in that afternoon to do bloodwork, etc. So I went to the OB, did the pee test and they took blood.

They called me back today stating that my hcg was 451 and my progesterone was 10. The NP seems perfectly happy with those numbers, but this is the first time I've been to that office for this pg, too.

If my beta on 7/7 was 20 and my beta on 7/20 was 451, that is NOT a good increase. I think

Honestly, if I were you I'd try not to worry. If I learned anything with my last m/c is that the numbers don't mean much. I had a very high number (1137 @17dpo), and excellent doubling (5141 @21dpo=44.1 hour 2x time), and still lost the baby at 6w1d.

From what I've read online, doubling time can be from 72 hours and still have a healthy baby in 9 months.

So, take a deep breath and allow yourself to be reassured by your NP's positive attitude. PAL brain sucks, and makes us worry about things we probably shouldn't worry about. Tell yourself that the NP sees many pregnant women and knows where the numbers should be and how they should be climbing.

I'm praying for you.

Oh Court :( I know we have been talking about this all day but I just wanted to say here that I know exactly how you're feeling (and I mean EXACTLY) and I also know there is no advice I can give you now that will make you feel better. All I have are hugs and a shoulder...
