I am only about 10 weeks, but I am already guessing that this baby is going to be a girl! I just have a gut feeling... Anyone else guessing!

I have no clue, no mother's intuition, nada! I'm hoping for a girl because I have a girls name picked out and my DH and I can't decide on any boys names. But I have EVERYTHING that I need if it is a boy. Originally, I didn't want to find out the sex. I figured since it's our third it would be nice to have a surprise. But now that we are moving, and I am seeing how much kids clothes I am hoarding, I am thinking that I want to find out so I can get organized.

Nothing major to base my feelings on... wishful thinking? Old Wives Tales? I did have a dream two nights ago that I had a baby boy and it was so real. I even was worried that I was not going to be a good mother, panicking even when I wanted to shower and didn't know what to do with the baby - which is NOT how I really feel. Even though I don't have my own kids, I have a lot of experience taking care of children and I know I will be a good mom. My friends come to ME for advice on their kids! So I am not worried at all. That dream was just so real!

My DH already has a boy and he is a total Disney Dad. He just doesn't do any parenting with him because he is a divorced dad who doesn't want to do anything to upset him. We fight about that a lot. I have spoken to other dads who either have both or just one or the other and they all tell me how parenting girls is so different than boys. One man actually said he feels more like a FATHER to his girls and feels like that is real parenting. I also think it would be nice for my DH to have a "daddy's girl." He would love it and she would have him so wrapped around her little fingers. Just like me and my dad! lol

I'm kind of in the same boat as Lindsay -- more hoping than guessing! I'm also hoping for a girl, just because it would be fun to have two of each. Logistically, it works out very nicely -- I'd have a big boy and a little boy, and a big girl and a little girl. Doesn't get much easier when it comes to sharing rooms, sharing beds on vacation, sending them by two's into a public bathroom, etc. But really, when it comes down to it, it doesn't matter much either way to us. I figure we have plenty of time to come up with names, we're planning on moving within the next 4-5 years, so even if it's another boy, it's not a big deal to have a baby boy sharing a room with a big sister (cause that's where the baby's going, regardless!)

The one thing making me lean more towards suspecting a girl is that I had a very real dream a few nights in a row that we had a baby girl named Rachel. Kind of a chicken and an egg thing, though -- who knows if it's some premonition causing the dream, or if the dream is causing the girl-feeling?

We were green teamers with our first two, and a yellow teamer with #3, because the kids wanted to know. I think we'll probably find out again this time, but maybe we'll talk the kids into waiting to find out after the baby is here!

I wonder who's dreams will come true. A few weeks ago I had a dream that I was having a boy and I named him Corey, after my friend who passed away 2 years ago.

A girl is a good guess - I mean, you have a 50-50 chance of getting it right! Seriously though, a mother's intuition is nearly always correct.
