UPDATE: Nurse just called with my initial b/w number - 33. I think that pretty much says it all.

Dustie - how heavy/light was the spotting from the SCH and how long did it last?

Hi Kelly. Sorry to hear that you're still spotting and that it's making you think worst cast scenario. I don't know whether comparing the darkness of lines means much this early on . . . . My best suggestion there is to just stop testing with hpts . . . it'll only add to your trepidation as you wait to see what Thursday's beta looks like. Hang in there, girl. Sending loads of sticky vibes as well as calming vibes your way. Let us know how the bloodwork is looking.

It ranged from spotting to heavy bleeding and it came and went. When I would have the bleeding it would last anywhere from 1 day to a week or two, and that lasted for several months. I know that doesn't help much but with a SCH your body either absorbs it (the hemmorhage) or pushes it out and that can take some time. It would also depend on how big the SCH is. Does that make sense?

thanks. that makes perfect sense and is exactly what I'm getting - it comes and goes and sometimes it's barely there and other times it's more like bleeding.

Julia - yeah, I'm not testing anymore myself. I had one HPT left and after yesterday, thought "wth, might as well use it." but for now, I'll just be waiting on my b/w and doctor's appt.

stupid OB office - the nurse told me yesterday that the b/w would be in by 11. I called at 11:15, it wasn't there yet. They said they would call to get it and "call me as soon as they had the results." Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. That translates to me calling about 3 more times this afternoon and finally getting my results at about 4:30.

Jesus . . . you'd think that given your spotting and previous pregnancy loss, they'd stick to their word and not make you be such a persistent self advocate right now with just getting those results.

Gotta chop up some veggies for a soup, but I'll be around and looking for your update from that call.
