Hi all, looking for some advice from people who use OPK's ... haven't used them before! Yesterday was CD12 and I decided to test at around 8p.m. - and wow, got a smiley face! So we DTD but I just wanted to double-check with you guys - because I haven't used them before, how sure can I be that the smiley face is genuine? Absolute? I used a Clearblue digital OPK. The test instructions seem to see there's very little margin for error ...I did look at the double lines on the test strip but there are NO instructions whatsoever with the tests on how to read those lines, I guess they just assume that the smiley face means your LH surge is detected and that's it. Is that foolproof tho??? I don't even know on this test stick which is 'me' and which is the test line - here's the pic!
I'm guessing (having learned so much from reading this board!) that it's best to DTD today and tomorrow, and keep testing to see if the smiley face disappears.
One thing I am confused about, I checked CP - and fairly new to that too - seems closed, is that a bad sign?? How do I know for sure? If that's getting into too much detail for this board, please ignore that last question!
