I had to sit down and think about where to start this thread and I decided that Daily Support was a good place.

I made this a monthly thread as opposed to a weekly thread because I don't *think* there are a ton of us in this boat and there shouldn't be a ton of posts here but I think those of us who are just leaving this whole TTC thing up to fate need somewhere to talk about it. :)

So here goes...

My name is Michelle. I have been TTC my second child for almost 5 years with two very early losses along the way. I have a 6 year old DD that I would love to make a big sister someday but I am leaving that in God's hands now. They say that he will shoulder the burden that is too heavy for me and this has certainly become too heavy. :(

Michelle, I have to say that Im sorry youre still TTC! I know how badly you want another baby, how much you would love for your DD to be a big sister (and Im sure she would love it too). I know how much it hurts to keep on trying month after month with nothing to show for it but a sad, broken heart, and how hard it is that we cant be in control of our fertility or ability to get pregnant. Its just so draining and frustrating.

I hope you can get a BFP this month, I really do.

I am in this boat for now. I am NTNP this cycle, no temping or OPK's, but I am not preventing anything either. I don' t think I O'd after my first m/c and doubt I will this cycle either, but who knows. I know my DH is sick of being benched, due to pg symptoms and them m/c so I'm sure he's ready to resume activities. I know my tempting and OPK addiction will be back after my first AF. I renewed FF for 180 days. It said last cycle, congrats you are pregnant and your due date is.. When I entered my new info when I started bleeding I was hoping it would send me a sympathy message ( Guess it doesn't work that way) like sorry you are no longer pregnant, lol

I think I will be joining you guys here. I don't plan on using OPKs and I don't temp. I know I O between CD12-15 so I plan on BDing every or every other day started at cd10. And I WILL NOT test until AF is due! DH will be home so I will have to stick with it.

Aimee, I have never had a cycle longer than 32 days so the deal I made with myself is that I can test if AF doesn't come by CD 40. That would make AF at LEAST a week late and if I am pg I should get a BLAZING BFP. I am going to BD from CD 10 to 25 every other day. I am actually pretty excited about getting off this roller coaster and becoming a real girl! LOL A girl who doesn't always have an HPT in the house and only picks one up when AF is a week late. One who only vaguely knows when AF is due. Feels like a fresh start for me.

That's a good way to think about it Chelle. I am very thankful to have rather short cycles (except this month!). I don't know how you have the patience for a 32 day cycle.

I hope this laid back approach works for you. I am sure it will be very difficult at the beginning, giving up that control, but I am sure it will reduce a lot of unwonted stress. I was one who vaguely knew when AF was due for the last two pgs. Wish I were that way now!! I think I may have too much time to think being a SAHM!!

Good luck Chica!!!!!!

Thought I'd take it upon myself to "bump" up this thread! I'm officially joining the NTNP club. Might have my dh take some fertility suppliments too, if he'll do it. But, like Aimee, I know I O somewhere between cd-12 & 15, so we'll just start bd-ing from cd-10 through 16, EOD, and hope we catch it. Every day
