My sister just told me that our cousin is pregnant. Can I add that she is 22, living at home with mom, boyfriend of 5 months is in the army and in Texas (we live in Mass). She wasn't even sure she wanted to keep dating this guy. I almost threw up and immediately started crying.
I just didn't need another "unwanted" pregnancy announcement right now. My father was told last week his lung cancer is back again and next week is my daughter yearly oncology appointment (she's healthy now but it's still really hard to go). Ian really just about at my breaking point right now.

I'm so sorry Jenn. No one understands what it feels like for someone else to announce a pregnancy unless they've had a loss and been in that situation themself. Did your sister tell you to pre-warn you?

Thank you ladies! I really appreciate the support.

Yes, my sister told me to let me know before it got out. We are really close. She even lives here and I babysit my nephew daily while she's in college. she was here through my loss and saw how I feel. I'm not even "supposed to" know about my cousin yet because she only told ER mom and my sis but she knew it would be better coming from her.

It's so great your sister is so close and is able to support you like that. And at least you have a little bit of time to digest the news and maybe work thru some of your feelings before you have to discuss the news with the rest of yorur family. *hugs*
