We just did our first IVF and I had a positive pg test Monday. First beta on wednesday was only 30...second today is 36 and I'm spotting. I'm so disappointed and don't know where to go from here. Our insurance covers no part of IF and we can't afford another IVF.

That's awful. I can't imagine having such a late loss when you feel like you are finally safe. This is my 4th loss, but all before 8 weeks.

I am beyond sorry for your loss:( you have found a great group of women to assist you in getting through all of this, i would demand to get some sort of testing done, they usually wont do the repeated loss panel tell 3 m/cs. but i demanded it after my 2nd loss, let me know if there is anything that i can do to help you with getting through this loss. i am here to help you.

I am so sorry Jamie. My first IVF was negative. We bought the shared risk program and had embies in the freezer so we tried again. I do know that a friend of mine didn't want to finance her IVF like I did, so they cut back luxuries (smart phone, cable, carpooling) for like 2 years - banked the money they saved and paid for IVF outright. Is that something you two can consider doing? It'll take a little time, but it could happen. There are also embryo adoption agencies. I don't know about cost difference, but for your body it would just be a matter of a FET rather than a fresh cycle and those are cheaper.
