So because I can't leave you girls altogether I thought I would put this up to post my non ttc activities and distractions. If anyone else is on a break or sitting month out feel free to join in.

We are painting our house. We've been getting it ready, fixing some siding and scraping over last week and today we started painting. This project may cruise me right into March, although I want to get it done done before my DH leaves in March. We actually got two walls mostly painted today. I say mostly because I am still looking to borrow a really tall ladder. The body of the house shouldn't take long but the eaves and trim will probably be the death of me. The physical labor makes it easy to not dwell on ttc and painting is actually kind of like therapy.

What have you guys done to make time pass while on a break or time out?

Running is good. I have ran a marathon, a few halfs, and a long distance relay but not any races for past two years. I kept not entering them thinking I would be pregnant at the time of the race. I plan on starting back running more consistent after the house gets painted. Running is what kept me sane when dh was in Iraq for a year. Anyways, note to anyone painting a house, stucco sucks.

I'd imagine stucco sucks, but wooden siding isn't too much fun either--you're never able to roll it on well, there's those darn grooves.

I just added some new things to my Etsy shop this week.

Cute stuff!

I'm still painting, lol. The trim and eaves never end. On the other hand it has taken my mind off ttc and dh leaving in March. I actually had to check fertility friend to see what cd it was yesterday.

Patiently waiting and being very productive.....
