Yes I saw the interview with this kid and his parents on the Today show a while back. I try not to read anything that might make we weepy – especially related to pg or m/c. I am so afraid that if I cry even one tear for any reason at all, I will never stop crying.

Yes Michelle! I agree, there was a point in the book where I had to walk away because I was bawling... However, after I had finished, I had found a new sense of calm and am more at peace with my losses.. it was very theraputic!

my family insists I read this book. my mom, her sisters, they all think I need to read it. It does sound like a great book, but I wish they would just let it go. I would love to read it, but I'm just not in the place mentally to read it right now. Why do mom's have to be so pushy??? I swear, every single time I talk to my mom and her sister, she "just has to tell me about this book".

I'm glad to hear that someone else who has actually experienced a loss enjoyed it... maybe I can push myself to it a bit easier now.

Torie, it's not just about the loss of a child. I've recommended it to people who have never had a m/c or experienced the loss of a child. I'm not going to push you to read it, but if you ever feel like you are in a place where you can, it really is a great book!

Yes, the m/c part does make it a little more special to me also!
