Memorial Blinky ????

I hope I do not offend anyone by posting this here- but I trust the judgment of the women on this board so I was hoping for some honest feedback.

****PG, EC and Loss Mentioned****

On the Feb EC we have continued to have members that MC and some more recent 2T losses and would like to create a blinky to memorialize the mama's and for the more recent losses in which the mama's had named the babies- by name.

Do you think this would offend these mothers? At first blush I think that most would appreciate it ( I would have). But it is such a painful sensitive time when you are right in the middle of it that I want to get some feedback before proceeding.

TIA

I think that is a -wonderful- idea of the memorial blinky. I think including the babies names or nicknames would be perfectly welcomed by those moms (Like you said, I would have appreciated it, if I was in that situation). But if you are unsure, you could always try to do a survey or poll on the board. If someone is uncomfortable about it, they could omit the baby's name, or choose not to participate.

I think it's a really sweet idea.

Hi, I was on the April 2010 EC and two of us lost our babies a day apart, Kylee was born still on March 25 and Landon was born still on March 26 - the April 2010 EC members have been super supportive to both Sabrina and myself - both of us have numerous of them on our fb friends. They had a couple of blinkies made for us - we both wear the one that is in my signature... both of us like that it has both babies and several of the others wear the blinkies for us as well.

As one of the moms who lost her little one, I just LOVE it...
