I don't think I would have started mid 20's I would have so started late teens early 20's. I know I wouldn't be in the same financial situation as I am now but I would have my babies.

Hindsight being completely 20/20, I definitely would have started earlier.

well, not really possible. I didn't meet dh until just before I turned 21. And we got pregnant the first time when I was 21. miscarried a month after I turned 22. been trying ever since with an unexplained infertility diagnosis and another miscarriage and a stillbirth along the way.

Now, let me know everything that is going to happen and take me back to 22 and I'd start saving for IVF and I'd probably have a couple little babies by now...

Child Mentioned

I really can't be entirely sure. Perhaps, if it was going to take us this long, I would have started TTC earlier, but because my DD was dealing with health issues and then emotional/behavioral issues, I was not in a mindset to even THINK about bringing another child into our lives. Had it been an option to TTC and still avoid getting pg until DD was 5 when we DID start TTC, then that would have been perfect. She kind of outgrew the asthma issues and then we figured out how to remedy the emotional/behavioral piece. I just don't know whether it could have worked out any differently. I just couldn't have considered TTC before then, though. I just kind of wish I had known that it would have taken us this long and I could have found that I needed to switch doctors and get this ball rolling a little sooner. We just waited until 2 years of TTC before we actually started doing something about it. So, I guess my hindsight would have been wishing we had done our testing and gotten the fertility meds way before we were 3 years into TTC.
