Do you ever have one? Do you like them? Have an experience?

I had my first one a couple years ago and it was awesome! I didn't even have that much stuff and I still made $300 PROFIT! I wish I had more stuff so I could have another one!

I LOVE them!!! We've had 2, the first one we got about $800 the second was a moving sale when we moved from Georgia to Michigan and we made about $2000. I love going to them but don't really find a lot to buy!

We've had them - had one two years ago. I actually really do like them. When my mom would have them when I was growing up, I LOVED helping out - pricing, handling the sales transactions, etc.

Once the weather gets a little nicer here, we're planning on having one, too. Nowadays, I love having them to get rid of all the extra junk we have in our house! I still have to go through and sort things and decide what I want to get rid of.

Good luck with your sale!

Thanks! It feels like shedding dead skin. I didn't know we had accumulated SO much detritus. The bonus room has enough stuff to open a store!

Ha ha ha!! You're so right! We really pared down what we had about 6-8 years ago because we moved, then moved again, moved a 3rd time (all within about 14 months - and each time moving into a smaller and smaller space). That 3rd move was into a tiny two bedroom condo with one medium sized hall closet for storage and that's about it. Once we moved to the town we're at, we were again in a small apartment, but once we moved into our house (it's been just about 4 years since we moved in), somehow all our belongings multiplied and despite having plenty of storage space, we've used up most of that space. It's amazing what you accumulate.

I've never thrown one but I've been to like 2. Nothing really caught my eye, except for some books. I can never turn down cheap books.

Thrift stores and flea markets are more popular in my area. Those I love.
