I got this just yesterday:

"If you'll just stop putting so much pressure on yourself it will happen for you. Go take a vacation somewhere and relax a little!"

What's worse is, 90% of the time I hear crap like this is when I wasn't ASKING for advice!!!

Dustie - yes, the "So and so had a miscarriage/tried for x-number of years and they went on to have a child/another one."

The one that got me after my miscarriage was "You're still young. You have time!" I got that right before my D&C in June. UGH! How do you KNOW I still have time? Do you KNOW how long I've been trying for? And how do you KNOW it'll happen?

"O don't worry you're young. You have time."

"You can't wait forever to try again. You can't be scared."--from ppl who don't know we're trying bc it isn't anyone's business

I hated when my parents told me that I needed to stop charting and just relax (in response to my losses).

regarding m/c

"get over it"

"move on"

"it was better that you didn't end up chained to ____ for years and years" (regarding my ex)

"everything happens for a reason"

regarding ttc:

"when are you going to have kids"

"you're not getting any younger"

"you should just adopt"

Cheryl, there is a girl at the grocery store that I go to regularly here and EVERY time I run into her she says "You and your husband need to hurry up and have another one." and EVERY time I say "it's not that easy". I even went so far as to say "I've told you before, but if it was that easy for me I would have a lot of kids right now". She just doesn't get it.
