HCG went from 200 to 730

Progesterone is still at 12

Why isn't the progesterone # rising??

Why doesn't my doctor seem too concerned about this?

My last pg (that ended in m/c) my progesterone never got above 13.

This cycle I was on Clomid and Crinone (progsterone gel from ovulation on) and it still isn't moving.

I feel like there's something really wrong with me.

Good part is, he wants us to come in Monday for first u/s. I hope I can last till then.

Any thoughts appreciated.

((hugs))

Hi Shira,

I have 9 weeks pg and when I went in for my levels my progesterone level was 16.5 @ 4 weeks pg and my dr put me on Prometrium (progesterone pills) he told me that anything less than 25 (and they normally like to see prog levels @40) is considered low, but with each dr is different. Alot of dr's don't feel progesterone supplements help? But if I was you I would question your doctor about your prog level and if you didn't feel comfortable I'd demand him putting you on some kind of progesterone supplements. I hope this helps.

Shira...my doc considers anything above 10 in the normal range. It sounds like you are doing great.
