Were you DTD already? If so, you might have a chance. GL

we were going to wait a cycle before TTC but we didn`t take any precautions in the meantime, i figured it was unlikely...

Unfortunately, that's the big problem with not waiting one cycle. You really don't know if you O'd and it's so hard to tell. You don't know if you're testing too early and you really are pg, or if you haven't even O'd yet. My doc would tell me to abstain for 14 days, then take a test, if negative they would have me come in for a blood test, if negative they would then give me a prescription for provera to start a new cycle. That's always been their protocol with a long cycle for me.

Good luck!

Here's a little Fertility Friend statistical analysis of when a sample of users received positive HPTs:

I don't know whether you feel confident in guesstimating when you ovulated, so don't know how helpful that link may be to you.

Try not to feel stupid . . . you're doing the best thing just by keeping your doctor in the loop.

For some people it can up to 8 weeks before af shows with a bit of spotting during the 8 weeks.

I think waiting out the 2 weeks before testing is the best idea. Sometimes implantation can occur quite late after conception, so it'll probably save you some anxiety to test once you'll most likely get a firm result, either way. I also experienced several days of spotting, but it was 4 weeks after the miscarriage rather than 7 weeks. At 7 weeks post-miscarriage (which was last friday), AF finally returned for me. And there was no mistaking it for anything else...it's been heavier than ever!

So it's definitely possible that you may have experienced implantation bleeding, but it's also possible that your body is still straightening itself out after a miscarriage. Either way, I wish you only the very best!
