bbt temps during/after m/c

I found out I was pg at 5 weeks, after what I thought was a normal AF. My bbt temps never went down though, so I tested with an hpt and got a bfp. 2 blood tests at the dr's confirmed the postive. I started spotting at 5w3d and the 3rd test showed lower hcg levels. My symptoms had disappeared and my dr and I agreed that I was miscarrying. I've been bleeding red lightly at night with some cramping for a week now, except for last night. My question is this: my bbt temps haven't gone down yet. In fact, they've gone up again. Did anyone else chart during their m/c? When will my temps finally drop below cover from last month? I've had several m/c but this is the first time charting so anyone's experience would be welcome.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too had my first mc this past month. I was temping off and on throughout and my temps did not drop below coverline until after my D&C. I had mentioned this to my dr. and that coupled with my HCG not dropping what he considered fast enough led them to a decsion of a D&C. Now almost a week after that, my temps are not that far below cover. I wish I could be more of a help to you. good luck.

I'm so very sorry for your Loss. I M/C on April 2. I think everyones body is different.

My Hcg's were normal and AF showed up on Mon. It has been less than 4 weeks for me.

So here's what my chart did. I knew I was m/Cing when my temp went below coverline.

It did a nose dive. Then shot up. Well my chart looks like a rollercoaster ride. O.K it then stayed high for 6 days then by days 12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 it stayed below coverline. Then shot up again. Then nose dived again which made me think Af was coming and then shot up again. My chart isn't anything like it was before this. I'm still trying to figure it out. GL

I had a similar experience to yours- m/c but my BBT has not fallen at all. It has not gone up, but has just stayed the same as it was before m/c. For me the pg symptoms are still strong- I've heard from some that it can take up too a month for the body to recover completely. It just is so difficult to have symptoms of pg when you know it is over. This is sure a difficult time and experience that nobody understands that has not been there themselves. I wish you the best.
