Awww, I'm so sorry :(

Ya know, I also only have one child and when I see other women with only one child who plan not to have another, I grill them like they robbed a bank about why they chose that. I guess I'm looking for one of them to rattle off this reason to have only one child that I had never thought of before that would totally rock my world and make me only want one child also. I want SO badly to give my daugter a sibling.

I appreciate your responses. Maybe the acupuncture will help me ovulate a good egg somehow. Thanks for giving me a little bit of sisterhood and hope.

My son also had Trisomy 13. I'm so sorry you had to make the choice. Has your RE talked to you about options for the ovarian reserve problem? Can you jump right to InVitro to increase your odds? I do know my SIL had great luck with acupuncture w/o any other intervention after two m/c's.

Yes IVF would be the only way you could be sure to fertilize a chormasomaly normal egg. I wish we could afford to do that :(

Wow - just goes to show you it doesn't really matter if the situation is the same, the feelings can be totally different. I too am an only child and an AF brat who was forced to move around and leave what friends I had managed to make in the short time we were where were. My parents

Well, I also figured that parents who are here, worrying over this, automatically aren't going to be that kind of parents, kwim? I will say that we did have a lot of the experiences, and I feel like my parents weren't kid people either. I kind of don't think they should have had me. ;)

My mom said if she ever died and were reincarnated, she'd want to come back as my kid. I told her I'd only want to go back to her as her dog. ROFL and :( at the same time. Sad but true.....

I can guarantee that your daughter doesn't have the same lifestyle you did, though -- I mean, when she's parked in front of the tv, you and Tony are there with her, joking, talking, and just being together (unless of course, it's an early morning BD session, but that's for her own good. ;) )
