So, my hubby is currently deployed and we were hoping to try on his 2 week R&R which will be around Feb.

How are you tracking ovulation? Are you using temps, opks, or something else? Your cycles seem to be fairly consistent with only a 2 day swing, which is generally considered normal. I would suggest using ff daily and make sure you are temping to validate that you I'd or use opks to figure out when your LH surge is happening. From the info you gave above I would guess that you are ovulating anywhere from CD 12- CD 15 right now.

Opks will let you know that your body is preparing to ovulate, but they don't tell you that you ovulated. If you are going to be using opks I would start them by cd10 at the latest, wait until you either get a positive opk or Smiley face and then yest for another day it two to ensure your levels went back down. Temping is the best way to see if you've actually ovulated or not. If temping you want to use a basal body thermometer (bbt ) and you want to temp at roughly the same time each day, preferably after 4 hours or so of sleep. I am personally relatively new to temping, because I have a wacky schedule and sleep issues, but it is really cook yo see that graph moving with your cycle.

I would chart daily for a couple of months to see when you are actually ovulating and see if your dh can get leave the week leading up to and during ovulation.

I hope it works out for you chica!
