In 2009 my hubby had a vasectomy. My ob told us I shouldn't get preg again. I'd been pregnant 6 times, 3 healthy children and 3 losses. Last year I had drs st tell me there is no reason I can't haven more children. My husband (unbeknownst to me) had been regretting the vas since it was done. He had it reversed and we got pregnant almost immediately in May. Our son was still born in November. We talking about trying again. However I want to be sure I'm as healthy as I can be. I had to receive a blood transfusion when he was born due to severe blood loss. I'm very scared and nervous about having another difficult pregnancy.

Welcome to the board, Elizabeth. Do they know why you had severe blood loss during his delivery? It's definitely a conversation you should have with your doctor if you are thinking of having another child. A lot would depend on what caused it the first time and if they are worried about it happening again.

I am so sorry for everything you have been through.  I agree with Melissa.  Do you know what the cause of the severe bleeding was?  Welcome!
