PG Mentioned below:

Hi TTCAM Sistahs!

This board was such a huge support for me during my m/c's.  I had 6 recurrent m/c's in a time span of just under 4 years before we had our rainbow baby.  I am now back to ttc again and all of my fears have started flooding back again.  We were never able to find out why I m/c'd so many times.  I finally had a protocol of clomid, tamoxifen, progesterone, metformin, intralipid infusions, heparin and low dose aspirin that worked with my DD.  I have been told that my m/c's were "bad luck" but after our 3rd loss I started to lose faith in my dr. and found another dr. who diagnosed me with PCOS.  I have had 3 D&C's because I kept having missed m/c's.  Sadly, testing revealed that I had one baby girl with Trisomy 22 and then in another pg. I had another baby girl with Trisomy 18.  I am totally terrified of having another Trisomy pg.

I was very active on this board back in 2008-2010 and now that the boards have changed I don't know if many of you will remember me.  I think of my fellow TTCAM'ers often and hope and pray for a big wave of BFP's over here.  For the longest time I had given up all hope of ever having my own children, but during my time on this board I saw many women who had struggled with m/c's and infertility go on to have rainbow babies.  There is HOPE!!!

Hi Jessica :) How have you been doing? The boards have changed so much since I was last here. It seems like the new format has reduced the number of people on the boards.

@ Leila- My DD is 20 months now. Congrats on your DD! I wish that I could have more confidence with returning to TTC, but it just was such a painful journey and I think that I am still somewhat traumatized by the whole experience. I just have to have hope and that will help pull me through!

I haven't heard of Pregnitude, but it sounds very promising!  I have been taking CoQ10 to help with egg quality. I am also taking metformin, progesterone, clomid, tamoxifen and then my prenatals.  I o'd on CD16 this month, so I'm hoping that an earlier O is what I need.  In my trisomy pg's I O'd late (CD28-32) and my other m/c's were all O times of later than CD21.  My 4th m/c was twins and testing revealed that one of the babies was a genetically normal boy, but I o'd on CD21 with that pg. and I suspect that my lining wasn't good.  I also have Factor V Leiden and in two of my pg's I had subchorionic hematomas, so I seem to be more "clotty" when pg.  I wish that there were clear answers.  I have always had a hunch egg quality was to blame and now that I am almost 34 I am thinking that could start playing into things even more now.

As soon as I saw your username I recognised it! It's lovely to hear you're back to TTC, sorry it's brought back all your fears. I'm really hopin you're gonna have a much easier time this time round. How old is your LO? I'm not active on this board at the minute (had my DD 5 weeks ago) but like to pop by occasionally to see how everyone is doin. Hope your stay here is short

Hi!  I just started a supplement called pregnitude that is supposed to help with pcos and improving egg quality.  It's over the counter and you can buy online.  I don't have pcos but I don't ovulate regularly and seem to need clomid to get pregnant (I have had 4 clomid pregnancies 2 m/c and 2 boys) and I just had a mc in january which I'm worried was due to egg quality.  I'm trying it out to see if it improves things.  Are you taking anything now or just trying and seeing?  Best of luck!
