I'm so sorry for you loss. Welcome to the board! And best best wishes on this TTC journey.I can totally relate to the challenge of facing a myriad of pregnancies among friends and family while you deal with the sadness of miscarriage.
I'm sorry for your loss, welcome to the board. You've found a great group of very supportive women!
I totally feel you on everyone around you getting pg so easily while you struggle. I have been a member here on and off since 1999, dh and I had our first m/c in 1999 then tried for 7 years before finally getting pg again and m/c again, then tried for 3 more years before getting pg again and lost our baby in the 35th week due to severe preeclampsia.
It's definitely NOT easy to keep on trying month after month when it just doesn't happen for you. And it's even harder when those around you are all getting pg and have NO CLUE what you have been through. After our first loss, people forgot I guess, they would ask every time I saw them for YEARS "when are you going to give your mom grandchildren" umm, we've been trying jerk. After 5 years, I finally told dh we had to go, we moved from michigan to south georgia where we stayed for 4 years before dh wanted to come back to michigan, but that 4 year break from questions was GREAT!
I hope you'll find the wonderful support here that I have found, and I hope that your stay here is short. Good luck to you!
Thank you Lucia!! This journey is tough for so many of us, and it is nice to be able to relate to some of the situations on this board... makes you feel a little less alone in the process.
Thank you for your message... I am so sorry about the difficulties you have been facing for so many years. I can't imagine what you must have been going through for so many years, and I only hope that you will get your miracle soon!!
(((HUGS))) I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm glad you found this board! Good luck with TTC and I hope you don't have the need for meds! Your cycles sound like mine...I appear to be ovulating. We BD at the right time. My cycles are pretty regular. Nothing abnormal. Tests are mostly "normal." I hope you get that BFP really soon!
I can also relate to how frustrating it is to constantly hear pregnancy announcements. Once we started trying, it felt like everyone was getting pregnant except us. And no one can really understand the frustrations about TTC unless they've been there, too. I've found these boards to be incredibly helpful for support and being able to share my story....and a story that others here have experienced, too.
"At least you know you can get pregnant." - what if it was a fluke? I know that for me, at least I know I can get pregnant.........ONCE in 3 years of timed trying. *eye roll*
The other one was from the doctor at the hospital when I went in for my D&C - you're still young. Ummm...sure...considering I was 32 when I had my D&C and had been trying unsuccessfully since I was 30. Let's see...if we try for another 2+ years, sure, I might still be "young" but I'm creeping up on AMA really quick! I'm already 33 and will be 34 this year...sure...I'm still young. *another eye roll*
I hope that you don't hear too many more pg announcements before you make your own! And I hope that you don't hear too many stupid comments from people who really need to mind their own business. (((HUGS)))
So sorry to hear about your recent loss.... and "at least you know you can get pregnant" is the most annoying thing for people to say. I wonder if people are even thinking through the statement before they make it.
Wishing you all the best for the future - and know that we are here, having gone through the same emotions you feel now, so if you need to chat please reach out... I am here!!! Take care of yourself and let's hope for BFP's with sticky beans the next time around:)
