Hi all!!

I am lucky enough to have married the man of my dreams who has a daughter from a previous relationship, and I also have a daughter from a previous relationship (she was a fluke and amazing gift I never expected!!)

Ever since we married we have been ttc (actually started trying about 8 months prior to the wedding with hopes it would bring a baby sooner).

I am so sorry for your losses. I totally understand the feeling that you are starting back on square one. We have been trying since 2006 and finally went to an RE this year. Hubby always wanted things to happen naturally but unfortunately that wasn't happening. We were so excited when we found out we were pregnant in July from an IUI but that ended in ectopic. We had to wait 3 months and I just got my 2nd BFN since then. It is a total bummer.

You will find a lot of support on this site. For my ecoptic, I bled for 46 days straight and I wish I could have had a D&C to make things end sooner. You probably won't bleed that long so it is totally up to you. Things are never easy for me with ttc hence the 46 days of bleeding......

Hi, there...I just wanted to mention that Femara is a great Clomid alternative. It is supposed to have a lot less side effects than Clomid. I can't personally speak to it as I didn't have side effects on either one but I know a lot of the girls think the Femara is easier to handle.

I had horrible mood swings when I was first on clomid. After a couple month break, I'm on it again and it has no effect on my moods. My doc said metformin does something in women with PCOS that helps your body be more accepting to the clomid. He said it usually helps even if you pass your insulin test, which I did. Dang, I pass all the tests but the hpt... go figure!

And just so you know, I'm not always optimistic... ooh lord no. I have my fair (or maybe unfair) share of negativity. But when I can help it I try to think I gotta keep going till I get my prize, ya know. I just can't accept that I'm not meant to have earth babies.

mindic12102,

thank you! Yes, I do think I am going to choose the D&C, I want this to be over and don't want to play a waiting game :( my body shows no signs of starting a miscarriage on its own...and Its hard to wait and hope to get over it and start again when you are still dealing with the present!

Cheryl,

Thank you for the help and I am very sorry for your losses as well! After reading my last post from someone and now this from you, I am definitely going to talk about the metaformin with my doc! I am really scared to go through a third miscarriage when I want this so bad!! Two is bad enough!
