I found some info that gives me hope...

"Circulating hCG concentration continues to increase exponentially (doubling about every 2 days). It reaches a peak at about 10 week of gestation (since last menstrual period). At which time the median hCG concentration in serum or plasma samples is around 60,000 mIU/ml. There is a very big variation in individual hCG concentrations. At this time, the extremes of normal levels are approximately 5,000 to 150,000 mIU/ml." found on http://www.hcglab.com/hCG%20levels.htm

And the levels they talk about are levels from successful pregnancies. The fact that someone could be at only 5000 at 10 weeks and have a successful pregnancy & I am at 4800 at 8 (maybe 9) weeks...this gives me hope. To only have levels of 5000 at 10 weeks would mean much slower doubling rates...I hope this is what is happening with me.
