Hi, I'm Tricia and I've been TTC for about 18 months now :(

I have 3 children, DS Rylie (13), DD#1 Madison (11) and DD#2 Samantha (2). We got pregnant about 3 months after Samantha was born, but had an early

Hi. I'm Christy and I am 35 too but still waiting for my first earth baby. We had an ectopic in July and I am hoping we get a baby that implants right. :)

I would suggest seeing an RE at a fertility clinic. You have been trying 18 months and I think it is time to get more aggressive. We started seeing an RE this year and we did get PG but we lost it (see above). OB/GYN's know a lot but they are not experts, per say, in infertility.

Hi Tricia, welcome here! Im sorry about your pregnancy loss. This is a great place to come to for support and advice when you are TTC again. Thanks for introducing yourself and telling us about your family. Nine years of TTC for #3 is a very, very, very long time... I dont know if I could have waited that long for another baby, I just might have given up by then. You must have tremendous strength and determination.

Using OPKs is a great way to pinpoint your most fertile days. I hope that helps you and DH to get the timing right and puts you that much closer to a BFP. Im glad to hear youve started charting as well. Are you using any kind of charting software? If not, let me recommend fertilityfriend.com It was a tremendous help to me when I began to TTC and it is also an easy way to chart your cycles, plus you can share the link with us and we will chart-stalk you along the way :) Check it out if youre interested. You will need a referral from someone to become a member of the site, but its really easy to join.

Please let usk now when you learn about your b/w results.
If you have any more questions, please ask!
We are all here to help each other along in the journey.

Welcome Tricia....sorry we had to "meet" this way, but glad you're here and I know you'll get all the support you'll need!

I've lost 4 babies, but have been very blessed with 5 living children. We're TTC our 6th. I don't have a lot of time left either,

Thanks for the welcome everyone and nice to meet you all:) So sorry to hear about everyone's losses :(

Christy, I don't know if we even have a fertility clinic locally or where there would be one, without having to drive for hours lol I think I will mention it to my doctor when I go back to see her though. She would know better than me if there is one around here :) Sending lots of baby dust your way

Nicole, nine years is a very long time :( Lots of disappointments and heartache along the way. We had pretty much decided that two was going to be it for us, when along came Sammie lol. But this last 18 months seems so much longer and harder than it did before. During those years, I only ever thought about getting preggo and having a baby, never about anything bad happening :( I started using fertility friend in August and also have an app for my phone that keeps track as well. I think there is a link to my chart in my siggie, if I did it right lol

Cheryl, I really like temping too, never really thought about how your temperature changes lol I always thought it just stayed the same unless sick lol It is so neat to see it go up and down, (hoping it stays up right now though lol)

Danielle, it's not the statistics about our ages that

Hi Tricia,
I'm very sorry for your loss. I agree that perhaps seeing an infertility specialist would be a good next step for you. That's the next step for me. I'm excited to see that we both have a Rylie...but mine is a 5 year old girl, not a 13 year old boy. :-) I do hope your stay here is short & you get your beautiful baby very soon.

Waiting to miscarry for a third time.

Next step is to see a fertility specialist.

Thanks for the welcome Melanie and I"m so sorry for your loss as well.

I think I will mention about seeing a infertility specialist to my gyn when I go back to see her next week.

That's neat that we both have a Rylie, even if one is a boy and one's a girl lol When I named him that, I didn't know anyone with that name and the only ones I had heard of were boys. Now I know more girls named Rylie/Riley/Rylee/etc :) He even had a girl Riley in his class one year :D

Thanks again

Welcome to the board. I don't have much to add to pp, but wanted to say hello. My history is in my siggy below. I can say I am happy with my switch from an OB/GYN to an RE. Best of luck to you!
