Miscarriage last month and pregnancy symptoms again 5dpo??

Hello all!! Im new here but was hoping for some help...
I had a miscarriage on 3/31 at only 6 weeks pregnant :( This month, I ovulated on 04/13 and had intercourse the day before, day of, and day after. 4dpo I had breast pain and tenderness and nasal congestion. Today, 5dpo, I have the same symptoms plus had a bit of nausea this afternoon and heavier than normal discharge.
I read someone online that you are more fertile after a miscarriage and I don't know if that's true or not but I really didn't think that I would get pregnant again so soon though we are trying. Im really not sure whats going on and what the chances are that I am in fact pregnant again. I plan on testing 10dpo but Im going crazy and was just hoping to get some opinions or hear some personal experiences. The wait, as we all know, is super hard!!
Thanks for any feedback!!

I'm not sure how true it is that you're more fertile after a m/c, but there are plenty of women who've gotten pregnant before even getting another period after a m/c.

That said, 5dpo is very early to be experiencing pregnancy symptoms. It usually takes the fertilized egg about 5-12 days to travel into the uterus and implant. I've had many months in which I've had what I interpreted hopefully as pregnancy symptoms, only to have AF show up right on time. Of course, there's not knowing without waiting for either a BFP or AF.

If I were you I'd wait a week or so and, if you're still having symptoms and AF hasn't shown up, go out and buy a pregnancy test. I really, really, really hope that this is it for you and you have a terrific, uneventful 9 month pregnancy!

Please KUP!

I really hope you are, just because it would give me so much hope! We are supposedly waiting 2 cycles, but I'm not preventing and would be thrilled with a surprise BFP. Please let us know when you find out, best of luck!

Hi there! I'm sorry for your recent loss. I just wanted to share that I experience similar pregnancy symptoms, particularly breast pain and tenderness, very early, starting around 4 or 5 DPO like you mentioned. It's definitely in the realm of possibility. but since you've had a miscarriage so recently it could be your body re-adjusting? I'm not sure, I'm just throwing that out there.

I've also read and heard that a woman is more fertile after miscarriage, but I'm not sure how accurate this is. Good luck to you!
