Hey all, im new on here, a good friend told me about this site and i couldn't wait to get
my story on here and get some good advice from you ladies who have possibly been through
similar things!
Right were do I start...I got pregnant in the august, went for normal scan, found out I was 17weeks
gone. They told me my baby boy
After the pregnancy in March, did you have bloodwork done to make sure your hormone levels went back to zero? If you only bled for a few days in April, never got confirmation that your HCG was back to zero, and now are getting confusing HPT results, I'd be concerned that the March chemical pregnancy was more than "chemical" and there is some lingering tissue in your uterus. If your HCG is even 25, you could still be getting positive pregnancy tests but not really be pregnant.
The only way to know for sure is to go in to your doctor and start having blood draws. See if your HCG is going up and doubling and then you will know if you are pregnant or not.
Sorry I could not give you a clearer answer. Good luck.
This really is a great group of women, I hope you'll find lots of support here.

Thank you so much for replying, really appreciate any info.
After the baby in Jan I never got blood tested and in March went to the gynecologist and they took swabs from my cervix
to check for infections, but they were all clear.
I'm really upset cos I obsessively tested which all came back positive then I checked how far I was on
a clear blue test and it came back negative. That's when I went to the docs they did a lab test and today that's come back negative :( im really upset!!! How many more times can this happen???
The biggest difference is- last chemical pregnancy I was getting mixed results all the time but this one iv had a roll of positives! Confusing..... Thank you girlie's xxxxxxxx
I don't know if this will help you feel better, but it sounds to me as though you've just finally cleared the HCG from your system, rather than having had another chemical. I would think that if you had had a chemical pregnancy just a week ago, you'd most likely still have enough HCG in there to show up on a blood test.
Please stick around, this is a great group of women!
Hiya sorry if i confused anyone but i had the bio-chemical pregnancy in March and bled in April,
then looks like im having another now. im devasted im 10 days late now i dont get it.
The doctors are not helping at all......:-( im really upset!!!
If you just had spotting or a short "period" in April, then my guess is that your body never completely cleared out the pregnancy and you still have some HCG in your system, which is what is making you get positive PG tests. After the pregnancy in March, your doctor should have had you do bloodwork until he/she was sure your level had dropped to zero.
The only way to figure this out now is to go have blood drawn and your HCG level determined. You need 2 blood draws, 48 hours apart, to see if your HCG is going up or doubling. I would call my doctor ASAP and ask for this. Hope that helps.
Morning ladies, got a letter from hospital been referred to the gynecologist
Hi all....went to the gynecologist he discharged me saying I wasn't pregnant after having the blood test feel a little alone now still slightly confused- wondering
