I'm sorry for your losses, Tiffany! I hope that you and your DH can have your next pregnancy be "third time's the charm" - but I would perhaps ask your doctor if he/she would be willing to test your progesterone or be willing to put you on progesterone if you do become pregnant. It's one of those, not sure if it helps, but it certainly won't hurt anything kind of meds. Just a thought. And, I would talk to your doctor now about how they will handle your next pregnancy with monitoring and such. Ask about what whether they would be ok with testing you NOW, even though you've "only" had 2 miscarriages in a row. Some doctors will wait until you've had 3 consecutive before they test. But, other doctors feel as though it's just cruel to make you wait for 3 in a row. Find out where your doctor stands on that and if they aren't willing to test you before you get to the point of 3 in a row, ask them what they can do for you (i.e., progesterone) if you do become pregnant again, so that you can have a successful pregnancy.

Welcome to the board, and I hope that we can get to know you better as you and your DH unofficially start trying again. :)

I agree! Check with your doctor before you get PG to develop a plan. After I had my MC in April, I had a follow-up with my Dr and I am supposed to call the day I confirm PG to schedule an early US to start early monitoring. Having a plan in place has really helped ease my concerns and fears for a repeat.
